The Education and Research Section will sponsor a section breakfast and co-sponsor five sessions at the 2015 Health Meeting in Atlanta, Ga. on June 15−17. On Monday we join the Health Section to co-sponsor “Statistics 101 for Health Actuaries,” session 7 and “Statistics 102 for Health Actuaries,” session 21. We will also co-sponsor session 37, “Getting Warm and Fuzzy, Beyond Traditional Set Theory,” with the Actuary of the Future Section. Tuesday morning is our section’s continental breakfast, with plenty of time for networking. On Tuesday afternoon, we will partner once again with the Health Section to co-sponsor “Do you really use what you learn on exams?” session 83, and on Wednesday as well for session 100, “Using Credibility: Using Experience to Project Health Claims.” The two statistics sessions and the credibility sessions are teaching sessions, while the set theory session is an interactive forum. The session on exams will be a panel discussion.
