Society of Actuaries Names New Recipients of James C. Hickman Scholars Program

The Society of Actuaries announced the six actuarial candidates named as SOA James C. Hickman Scholars. The Hickman Scholars Program provides stipends to doctoral candidates working on actuarial research and education, with this year being the first to include international candidates.

2024 SOA Elections Results: Announcing New 2024–2025 Board Members and President-Elect and Vice-Chair

The SOA announced the results of the 2024 Board of Directors Elections, with five new Board members elected and a new President-Elect and Vice-Chair for the 2024–2025 term. All elected Board members will begin their duties at the 2024 SOA ImpACT Conference at the end of October.
