Description: Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) benefits have expanded rapidly in recent years as an increasing number of states have required employers to provide these benefits to their employees. Examine recent developments in PFML benefits, for example, the presenters will provide information on which states are introducing or considering PFML programs, what types of benefits are provided, what types of data is available to monitor experience, and what challenges programs have encountered.

Description: The SOA has been continuing to highlight the importance of societal purpose across the global actuarial profession, and as a way to attract and retain the next generation of amazing exam candidates and young members.
