In Memory of Walter Gelazin, Jr.

Walter Gelazin, Jr., FSA died peacefully on March 8, 2021 in Bridgeport, CT. He was 75 years old.

Walter graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Master’s degree from the University of Michigan. He became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1974.

He worked for 20 years at New York Life Insurance Company and retired with the position of Actuary in 1986.

Walter had a great personality and was liked by many. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
