Financial Economic Theory and Engineering is a written–answer examination offered in the fall of each year.
The syllabus for this exam covers applications of economic theory to financial markets and modeling. The candidate is exposed to modern corporate finance theory and applications, advanced derivatives and financial markets pricing and modeling, and information theory and efficient markets theory.
This exam is required for candidates seeking to complete either the Finance/ERM specialty track or the Investment specialty track for Fellowship.
