Individual Life and Annuity DP is a written–answer examination offered in the fall of each year. Both a U.S. and Canadian version of the exam are administered, each of which has its own reading list.
The syllabus for this exam covers the individual life insurance and annuity product design and development process. The course of reading exposes the candidate to the relationship between the product design and the selection of appropriate pricing assumptions as well as the profit measures used in pricing.
This exam is required for candidates seeking to complete the Individual Life and Annuities specialty track for Fellowship.
