About the Pilot Program

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is currently offering candidates residing in India or Pakistan the opportunity to register for exams at a further discounted rate through the “Global Access” pilot program. This pilot program is designed to reduce geographic-related financial barriers to the associate-level pathway, as well as encourage the expansion of the actuarial profession. All candidates and members living in these countries already qualify for an international discount on ASA exams and modules. The pilot discount for India and Pakistan will be 50% off all ASA components in the first two Micro-credentials and 30% off the final Micro-credential. Discounts are not available for VEEs. 

Key Details of the Pilot Program:

• Special Pricing: The SOA exam pricing under the Global Access pilot program, for India and Pakistan, has been significantly discounted to account for the GDP in your region.
• Availability: The new pricing will be available for exams taking place from January 2024 into 2025. Candidates must register at soa.org/globalaccess for pilot pricing to apply.
• Evaluation: Exam registration patterns and candidate feedback will be used in feasibility studies to determine further expansion in low and lower-middle income countries as determined by The World Bank.
