As a sitting board member seeking a second term, I ask myself, “What more can I give for my second term?” The answer is -- a lot!
The SOA strategic plan for 2022-2024 is in full swing. Multi-year strategic initiatives, such as candidate outreach, exam pathway redesign, and PD innovation, are well underway. If elected for the second term, I will bring continuity and consistency to the boardroom to carry these initiatives to fruition.
In addition, working at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company gives me the unique opportunity to examine the value proposition of actuaries to our internal and external customers, and the skill gaps that we need to fill to become influential business leaders. I now have fresh perspectives on what takes to be exceptional leaders, forward views of the future of insurance, and a true global mindset to contribute to the SOA board.
I'm asking for your vote to give me the privilege to be your voice for the next three years. Visit my candidate page, questionnaire, and campaign video to learn more about my vision for the future of the SOA. Connect with me on LinkedIn to share your ideas.
