Optimal Retirement Income Solutions in DC Retirement Plans

The Society of Actuaries’ Committee on Post Retirement Needs and Risks is pleased to make available the full report of this multi-phased effort.  The full report describes the four analysis phases and conclusions.  Reports focusing on each of the phases are also available and were previously distributed.  Also included is a link to a webcast hosted by the Retirement Resource Center. The project illustrates an analytical framework for evaluating retirement income generators (RIGs) that could be offered in a DC retirement plan primarily in the U.S.  The reports were authored by Steve Vernon, Wade Pfau, and Joe Tomlinson.
