Celebrating Excellence: The Best Article in Reinsurance News in 2023
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winner of the Best Article in Reinsurance News! Amongst a pool of exceptional articles, “Navigating IFRS 17's Currents: Steering Reinsurers Towards Transparent Horizons,” submitted by Bob Owel of KPMG, was chosen by the jury as the victorious submission. The article appeared in the December 2023 issue. It looks at the journey of reinsurers toward IFRS 17 compliance and how IFRS17 may bring greater levels of transparency and comparability for reinsurers.
